Port de Barre x Walcot House
We are extremely excited to welcome Port de Barre to Walcot House.
Taught by Tamsyn Butt, who has worked as a professional dancer and dance teacher for over 20 years, this unique method of fitness aims to work towards a dancer’s physique by lengthening and strengthening limbs, refining tone and honing core stability. The workout is low impact but has the capacity to burn fat, just like a high intensity work out. Classes provide challenge and build endurance. Port de Barre are offering a range of classes for different levels and you do not need dance experience to participate.
NEW: Barre Beginners 6 W/K Intro Course
Starting: Saturday 14th September 2019 from: 09.00-10.00
This workshop is a great introduction for anyone wishing to join a Port de Barre class who has had limited experience of barre previously. The workshop will cover how to perform technique correctly, focusing on alignment, posture and coordination of movement combinations.
