Saturday 11th August - Brontë Shande Kirkby

Bronte's last appearance at Walcot House was a sell out!

Bronte's last appearance at Walcot House was a sell out!

Live from 9pm:

Bronte Shande is an eclectic soul singer with an 'enchanting' and 'colourful voice' ample in emotion and experience far beyond her years. Best known for singing within critically acclaimed Bristol based quirky folk duo Circe's Diner, her mesmerising and intertwining harmonies have enchanted audiences far and wide with performances at Glastonbury Festival, Ronnie Scott's and airplay on BBC Introducing.

Shande's few and far between solo shows are rich in influence from some of the greatest Neo-Soul and Jazz vocalists of our time such as Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Amy Winehouse, Sarah Vaughan, Chaka Khan, Esperanza Spalding and Nai Palm. Her dulcet, rich tones have been featured within many collaborations with some of the UKs most exciting upcoming underground Hip-Hop producers such as Benaddict and Ile Flottante who are set to release a solo EP at the end of this year.
